40 films in placement
Unranked queue
New films play 10 placement votes against rated films from across the ladder — bottom, middle and top. Their opponents only move at half weight, so a new film can't distort the ladder. After the 10th vote, the film gets a starting rating from its results and joins the leaderboard.
